What we know so far
The Missing Burro is a Mexican kitchen in a garden on Thonglor Soi 7. It cooks out of converted shipping containers, and the tables sit outside under string lights.
Two brothers from Mexico, Itzco and Tlahui Calva, opened it. They cook Yucatán food, not the Tex-Mex most of Bangkok serves. That means cochinita pibil and tlayudas.
The list covers tequila, mezcal, and bacanora. The drinks are made to go with the food, and the mezcal Margarita is the one reviewers keep mentioning.
For Thonglor, the food is cheap. Starters run ฿230–฿400, tacos start at about ฿80, and mains are ฿270–฿400. The Tequila Cheese and Shrimp Tacos (฿320 for two) have the shrimp flambéed in tequila.
